What is a large-scale palm vein algorithm license? +
It is a commercial license for X-Telcom's large-model palm vein recognition architecture. Compared with the small model's SDK-packaged interfaces, it provides more flexible server-side APIs, deeper custom integration and capacity for larger identity databases.
Can both models run on our private server? +
Yes. Both the small model and large model support private-server deployment. The difference is interface flexibility: the small model provides packaged standard interfaces, while the large model offers more open and customisable server-side integration, subject to agreed capacity, QPS and hardware requirements.
Is the 50,000-100,000 User ID license really free? +
Yes. Qualified strategic partners receive 50,000-100,000 User ID License capacity free for a three-month evaluation. One registered user equals one User ID License, and deleting a user releases that capacity. For commercial use, customers purchase the number of User ID Licenses their project requires. Each purchased license is paid once and remains valid for life, with no recurring annual fee and no upper limit on the total quantity purchased--for example, a 10 million-user project can purchase 10 million User ID Licenses.
Does the deployment support GDPR requirements? +
The private-deployment architecture supports customer-controlled data location, encryption, data-minimised matching and configurable operational governance. GDPR compliance remains the responsibility of the controller and processor across the complete implementation, including lawful basis, transparency, retention, data-subject rights and any required DPIA.

Private deployment helps customers keep palm vein data within their controlled infrastructure. Routine identification uses derived biometric features rather than repeatedly accessing original RGB/IR images, supporting a data-minimised operating model.
GDPR compliance depends on the complete customer implementation. The data controller must establish a lawful basis, transparent notices, retention and deletion rules, data-subject request procedures, processor terms and--where high-risk biometric processing applies--a Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA).
